To give the option to cancel the booked appointment to your customer you can add a cancellation link to the confirmation e-mail by going to Company > Settings > E-Mail / SMS templates.
The cancellation link is already included in the confirmation e-mails by default. The placeholder for the cancellation link is CANCELLINK and can be added in every template by adding the following HTML-Code: <a href="CANCELLINK">here</a>.
If you want to you can set the field reason for cancellation as a mandatory field by using CANCELLINKMANDATORY as a placeholder instead.
After a successful booking the booker will now receive a confirmation e-mail that includes the cancellation link.
As soon as your customer klicks on here a new window with the cancellation will open.
Your customer now has the option to communicate the reason why they want to cancel the appointment.
In this example we enter illness as the reason for the cancellation and klick on cancel.
Afterwards the service provider and the customer receive an e-mail with the cancellation e-mail on the provided e-mail address (Company > Communication > Settings), that looks like this:
After cancelling the appointment, the customer can go back to you scheduling page and book a new appointment by clicking on "appointment".
