Appointment waiting list for a desired time frame
Should there be no appointments left on a certain day, appointment bookers have the opportunity to be put on a waiting list.
To activate this feature, go to Scheduling Page > Settings > Advanced settings and activate the option “Appointment waiting list”.
Furthermore, you can decide whether appointment bookers will automatically move up on the list or if you want to change appointments on the waiting list into regular appointments manually.
Once there are no available appointments left on a certain day, it will be shown on your online scheduling page as such:
You can change the shown text of the online scheduling page at Scheduling Page > Settings > Default texts > Waiting list info text.
If you only want to use the waiting list feature for specific services, you can change that at Company > Services by clicking on the desired service and going to "Service-specific settings. There, you can set the waiting list to “Active” or “Not active”. Should this option be set on “Global setting”, the general setting under Scheduling Page > Settings > Advanced settings will be of use.
Reservation list/Appointment waiting list without a time frame
As an alternative, you can set up a reservation list at Company > Services by opening the desired service and going to advanced settings. There, set the option "Appointment booking type" to "Reservation list/waiting list". With this feature, the appointment booker will be put onto the reservation list without choosing a certain date and time. In this case, after choosing a service, you will be forwarded to entering your contact info, the selection of a date and time frame will be skipped.
You can view the reservation list at Dashboard > Waitinglist.
The appointments of the reservation list can be found on the 1st of Januray of the current year.
By clicking the three dots of an appointment, there are further options available. For example, you can either edit, delete or print an appointment.
Clicking on an appointment on the waiting list or the reservation list, you can edit the appointment/manually and change it into a regular appointment by ticking the box “Convert to regular appointment”.
