Data Protection Regulations for Online Appointment Booking

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulates the secure processing of personal data of EU citizens. Art. 6 and Art. 7 GDPR regulate the conditions for processing and consent to data collection. This also applies to the collection and processing of the contact details on the online appointment booking page.

Together with a data protection officer and IT lawyer, we have created a sample text for the GDPR-compliant data protection declaration, which is available by default on every online booking page. If necessary, you can adjust them accordingly in the menu item Booking page > Settings > Default texts. In addition, you can specify whether this must be explicitly accepted using a checkbox via Booking page > Settings > General.
