If you book an appointment manually for your customers in the appointment calendar, you can also configure automatic e-mail notifications for these appointments.
To do this, go to Settings > E-Mail/SMS notifications in the appointment calendar:
The automatic notification is sent when the following functions are activated:
*) New appointment
If you create a new appointment using the appointment finder or by double-clicking on a day and time, you can specify here whether an automatic appointment confirmation should be sent. You can also specify here whether you want to use a different confirmation text for appointments booked internally than for appointments booked via the online booking site.
If this function is activated, an automatic notification is also sent to the customer if the appointment changes. If the start and end time remain the same and only the date changes, it is also possible to specify here whether an automatic e-mail notification should then be sent or not.
*) Cancel appointment
If you delete an appointment completely, you also have the option here of specifying whether the customer should receive automatic notification of this appointment cancellation by e-mail.
If you check the "Send notification" box for the appointment, all the activated functions will be carried out from "Settings > Automatic email notifications". If you do not tick the "Send notification" box, no automatic notification will be sent to you nor the customer.
