Indexing the booking page in search engines
You have the option to get your booking page indexed on search engines by going to Scheduling Page > Analytics & SEO and activating the option Index booking page in search engines (Google, Bing, etc.)
Google Analytics & As ID
You can track the accesses to your booking page and optimize these for search engines.
To activate this option go to Scheduling Page > Analytics & SEO
With Google Analytics you will then find the views of the individual booking pages as follows:
/<YourSchedulingpageAdresse>/1 --> Service selection
/<YourSchedulingpageAdresse>/2 --> Selection of date and time
/<YourSchedulingpageAdresse>/3 --> Contact details
/<YourSchedulingpageAdresse>/4 --> Summary/Confirmation of successful booking
Google Tag Manager
The Google Tag Manager is a popular Tool in combination with Google Analytics and Ads. It extracts information from tags and transmits the tag data to Analytics and Ads, so that you can get a better overview of the performance of your marketing activities.
You can enter your Google Tag ID by going to Scheduling Page > Analytics & SEO:
Also install the Tag Assistant Companion Extension in the Chrome web browser. Then close the browser so that the extension can be used.
Open the browser again, switch to preview mode in Google Tag Manager and enter the URL of your booking page. It is important that your Google Tag Manager account is activated for debug mode. As a rule, you will then also receive a message in the preview mode.
The Tag Assistant must then be visible on the booking page in preview mode.
If you then book a service, you can view the corresponding data layer variable in the Google Tag Manager, which is triggered by eTermin via JavaScript.
These data layer variables can be used arbitrarily in the Google Tag Mangaer. For more information, Google provides a documentation for the data layers.
URL tracking pixel booking page calling booking
You can enter the url of a tracking pixel by going to Scheduling Page > Analytics & SEO that gets triggered when the booking page is opened.
URL Tracking Pixel successful booking
You can enter the URL of a tracking pixel by going to Scheduling Page > Analytics & SEO that gets triggered after a successful booking.
Hint: You must not enter HTML tags of the tracking pixel code but only the URL (e.g. https://www.klick-tipp.com/pix/xyz). If you use this pixel together with “URL tracking pixel booking page calling” above it is for instance possible to send a reminder to people that only visited your booking page without booking an appointment.
Header title of the booking page
To optimize the search engine you can enter the header title here. The header title serves as a title for the searched word in any search engine.
“Meta Description” Tag
You can describe your booking page in a few words by using this tag. In some cases, this is a text that is shown by the search engine. Normally it takes a few days until the description appears in the search results.
Unfortunately, we have no impact on the description that is shown by the search engine. The maximum text length is 160 characters.
