If you use synchronization, you can transfer appointments from your external calendar to eTermin. But sometimes it is important to set an absence in eTermin, which can otherwise only be set up via the dashboard. However, this is also possible with the external calendar.
Creation of the absence
The absence is created by using the placeholder %BLOCK% in the subject of the appointment. The reason can then be stored in the description, whereby the first 50 characters are transferred to eTermin.
What do you need to consider?
- The created absence is not visible in the calendar. However, the working times are greyed out for this appointment and are therefore deactivated.
- If the appointment is deleted, the absence is not deleted.
- Correspondingly, the appointment in the external calendar is not deleted if the absence is deleted from eTermin.
- Updating the appointment means that the appointment is created like a normal appointment in eTermin (this does not apply to CalDav, a new absence would be created here).
