Zoom is the market leading plattform for video and audio conferences, collaboration, chats and webinars on mobile devices, dektops, phones and room-systems. With the Zoom to eTermin interface, links to Zoom meetings can automatically be created when appointments are booked
Connect eTermin to Zoom
Log in to your eTermin Account by going to https://www.etermin.net/interface and scroll down to the Zoom tile and click on Settings.
Then click on the button to Activate the interface and on Connect to Zoom meetings afterwards:
You will be forwarded to the login screen if you weren’t logged in to Zoom yet. Please enter and confirm your user information. Afterwards you will get a confirmation that eTermin and Zoom are now connected.
Setup Zoom meetings
If you want to provide all the bookable services by using Zoom please go to Company > Settings > Communication to select Zoom meeting as the Location for online booked appointments.
You can also choose a different location for every service if you only want to provide some services via Zoom, and others in a different location. Please go to Company > Services > Service you want to provide via zoom > Service-specific settings and choose Zoom meeting as the Location for online booked appointments:
A different Zoom link will now be created with every succesfull booking. It will appear in the summary of the booking on the online scheduling page, in the confirmation e-mail as well as in the location field when the booker saves the appointment to their calendar using the .ics file.
You need to add the placeholder LOCATION in the confirmation e-mail by going to Company > Settings > E-mail/SMS templates > Confirmation e-mail so that the zoom link can automatically be sent. I would recommend that you use the option Different appointment confirmation text per service so that the location only appears when a service provided by using zoom is booked.
Summary on the online booking page and in the calendar entry:
If you or the person who booked the appointment cancel the appointment, the corresponding zoom meeting will also be cancelled.
All the Zoom appointments that have been booked can be seen in the overview in your Zoom account.
Zoom meetings (Meeting Links) without using the zoom interface (Multiple occupancy)
If you want to use Zoom for webinars or other services where multiple participants can join simultaneously you need to assign a zoom link to every service once. To do this please go to Company > Services > Service you want to edit > Service-specific settings and choose Other location as the Location for online booked services. A new field will appear where you can enter the zoom link.
Afterwards you can hold your meetings as usual, your customers will automatically get the link to the meeting.
