By default, an email confirmation is sent to the appointment booker and also to you as the appointment provider for every appointment booking. In addition, any number of email addresses can be stored by your employees so that they are also informed of the new appointment by email.
There is also the option of automatically sending an SMS to the stored mobile number as soon as an appointment is booked for a specific employee or resource. You can also define the conditions under which the SMS should be sent. For example, an SMS is only sent if your customer has booked an appointment within the desired period before the actual start of the appointment. So you and your employees are always well informed, even if an appointment is booked at short notice.
You can also specify whether the employee should only receive an SMS about appointment confirmations or also for appointment requests if you want to confirm booked appointments manually first. In the case of appointment requests, the employee has the option of confirming the customer's appointment.
This setting can be found under Company > Calendars > Advanced settings.
