When you register yourself for your own eTermin account, our setup assistant will guide you through the first steps for your own booking page. In the following articles we describe how to proceed to offer further appointments after the initial setup.
In order to make appointments bookable on your booking page, only a few basic steps are necessary, which we will now explain to you:
Step 1: Create Services
A service specifies which types of appointments you want to offer your customers. These can be consultation appointments, appointments to present a product or other services or courses and seminars. You determine the duration of the appointment for each service and, if necessary, also a suitable picture and the price.
You can find all your services under Company > Services.
If a completely new category is to be created for the new service, first click on the "New category" button and create a new service group.
In the first step, you can also give the new category its own name.
Once the settings for the category are complete, switch to the Services tab.
You can create as many services as you like within a service group. To do this, click on the "New Service" button.
If your new service should appear within the existing category, click on the respective category to open it. After opening, you will automatically land in the "Services" tab. There, you click on the "New service" button to create the new service.
In the pop-up window that appears, enter a name, an appointment duration and, if required, a price. You can also work with pre- and post-processing times for the appointment duration.
Finally, save the service.
The created service then appears on your booking page and can be selected.
If a new category was created, the service appears in this, below the existing services.
If the new service was created within the existing category, it will be in the same category with the other services.
A detailed description of the other categories and services can be found here.
You also have the option of dynamically displaying categories and services. You'll find more about it here.
Step 2: Calendars
In order for an appointment to be bookable, a calendar must exist in which the appointment can be booked. Calendars can be created for employees, devices or rooms, etc.
By default, one calendar is already available in your eTermin account for booking.
You can also create additional calendars for booking under Company > Calendars. Click on the "New Calendar" button and a new calendar will be created.
Each calendar can be booked independently of the others. You can also determine whether only appointments with certain services should be booked in certain calendars.
If you use this function and create new services, make sure that the new service is also assigned to at least one calendar so that it can be booked. You do this under Company > Calendars > Services Assignment.
More information and other helpful articles on the eTermin calendars can be found here.
Step 3: Working Hours
After it has been determined which services can be booked in which calendars, it still has to be defined when the bookings are possible.
Under Company > Working hours you determine on which days and at what times you want to offer appointments for your customers. If working times already exist and are activated for all services, the new service can already be booked.
When creating new working times, you have various options for setting them up. A detailed documentation of the possibilities can be found here.
You can also add absences so that appointments cannot be booked at certain times.
Once these three steps have been completed, the new service can be booked. You can call up the booking page you have created via Scheduling Page > Preview booking page or via the orange-colored link in the top right corner.
You can change the color of your booking page to match your own website or corporate design. More information on this can be found here.
Note: eTermin offers a wide range of functions and settings that can automate the desired booking process. If you are unsure how to set certain areas in order to achieve a targeted result, we will be happy to help you.
If no special booking process is desired, we recommend using the standard settings of the respective functions.
If you are looking for a specific function, please use our search bar. You can find this in the upper area of the eTermin backend.
