With eTermin you can offer appointment packages with the use of automatically generated coupon codes.
This allows a customer, for example, to choose a package with a total of 10 appointments and pay a total price for it. To ensure that the additional appointments are also free of charge, the customer uses a voucher code that can be used for the corresponding number of appointments.

1. The Creation/Generation of the Voucher Code
To have a coupon code generated specifically for an individual customer use one of these placeholders:
%CREATEVOUCHERCONT10%: Placeholder to create a coupon code with contingent on an appointment booking. Replace the value 10 with the desired contingent of your appointment package.
%CREATEVOUCHERCONTSERVICE1234@10%: Placeholder to create a coupon code with quota at an appointment booking. The voucher code is only valid for certain services. Replace the value 1234 with the service ID(s). Replace the value 10 with the desired contingent.
You insert this placeholder in the appointment confirmation to your customers. You edit the template under Company > Settings > Email/SMS Templates. We recommend activating the option "Different appointment confirmation text per service" here, should you offer appointments with individual appointments in addition to appointment packages.
In our example, we offer an appointment package with a total of 10 appointments. Since the first appointment is already booked when the package is booked, we insert the placeholder as %CREATEVOUCHERCONT9% or %CREATEVOUCHERCONTSERVICE1234@9% in the confirmation. This means that a customer can book 9 more appointments after the first one.
Once the placeholder is embedded, a voucher code with the corresponding contingent is generated and transmitted to the customer when the confirmation email is sent. The customer can now book the further dates of his package and redeem the voucher code.
Note: Redeeming a voucher code cannot be used in combination with the multi appointment selection. Each additional appointment of a package must be booked in a separate booking process.
2. Service for the additional Appointments
The voucher code is generated with each booking of the affected service of the appointment package. In order for a customer not generating a multiplicity of codes, another separate service for the further dates of the package must exist.
To do this, go to Company > Services and click on "New Category" to create a new service group. In the "General" tab, you have the option to hide this new category and thus make it only accessible via a special link. To do this, deactivate the option "Service group can be booked online" and save the change.
Then switch to the "Services" tab and create a new service. Create this accordingly to your appointment package excl. price. Then go to the "Service-specific settings" tab and set the "Show voucher code input field" option to "Show (mandatory entry)".
With this setting, you can only book another appointment of the package if you enter a voucher code. This ensures that only customers who have paid for the entire package have access to the other appointments and that no free appointment can be booked without a voucher code.
If the quota of the voucher is used up and you want to redeem the code, a corresponding error message appears.
3. Link for further Appointments
By creating a new category, you have the option of including a link directly in the confirmation email for the appointment package, where your customers can book further appointments.
To do this, go to Scheduling Page > Website Integration. Scroll down to "Direct reference service group" and select the category for the other dates in a package. The link will be generated automatically. Alternatively, you can generate a link for "Direct reference to service". The selected service is preselected and the customer is taken directly to the date selection when the link is called up.
Copy the created link and go to Company > Settings > Email/SMS templates. Paste the link into the confirmation for th appointment package.
You also have the option of extending the created link with the parameter &voucherid=%NEWVOUCHERCODE%. As a result, the created voucher code is automatically adopted and the customer does not have to specify the voucher code when booking.
The link then looks like this:
www.etermin.net/YOURBOOKINGSITE?servicegroupdid=123456&voucherid=%NEWVOUCHERCODE%
If you don't want to display the link as just text, please enter the following:
<a href="YOUR URL">Link Text</a>
Now the customer not only receives the appropriate voucher, they can also use the sent link to book further appointments.
4. Purchase of the Appointment Package without an Appointment
It can also be possible for your customers to purchase the voucher directly without booking an appointment.
Please note: This is only available if you offer one of the online payment options on your booking page.
The process for creating the services at the beginning is identical to step 1 and step 2. One service is required for purchasing the voucher and another service for the actual dates of the appointment package.
When creating the service for the voucher, enter the price for the entire appointment package under Price. Set the appointment duration to 0.
Then go to the Advanced Settings tab and set the Appointment Booking Type option to Voucher Sale.
Finally, in the E-Mail text option, enter the placeholder %CREATEVOUCHERCONTx% with the corresponding number for the number of appointments, e.g. %CREATEVOUCHERCONT10% for 10 appointments.
This allows you to create different services for different appointment packages.
You create the service for booking the actual appointments as described in step 2.
Then go to Company > Settings > Email/SMS Templates. Select the Voucher Sale template here and replace the placeholder %VOUCHERSALE% with the placeholder %SERVICETEXT%. Using this placeholder, the appropriate voucher code will then appear depending on the appointment package selected. Additionally, add the link from step 3 so that the dates in the package can also be booked.
You also have the option of creating vouchers for discounts or gifts for your customers. You'll find more about it here.
You can also offer to sell vouchers with certain values. Instructions can be found here.
